[message]The History of the Brand
Founded on the values of authenticity and craftsmanship, Belchengruppe draws inspiration from the majestic landscapes of the Black Forest region in Germany. The brand takes its name from the Belchen massif , a symbol of raw nature and robustness, reflecting the artisanal approach to its watches. Each model is designed to capture the essence of this region, combining tradition and modernity.
Belchengruppe stands out for its attention to detail and watchmaking mastery. Made with high-quality materials, each watch is precisely assembled by experienced craftsmen. The brand focuses on the combination of pure design and complex mechanisms, creating timepieces that combine reliability, functionality and elegance.
The Belchengruppe watch range reflects the brand’s commitment to innovation and timeless style. From unique mechanical complications to durable materials, each piece stands out with its own distinctive character. The collection aims to be accessible, while maintaining high standards of quality, making watchmaking luxury available to a wider audience.
True to its Black Forest roots, Belchengruppe is committed to sustainable watchmaking. By using environmentally friendly materials and ethical manufacturing processes, the brand aims to reduce its ecological footprint while still offering high-quality watches. This commitment reinforces Belchengruppe’s authenticity and long-term vision.
“German precision at the service of modern and sustainable watchmaking.”
The Watches
Belchengruppe
Behind every Belchengruppe watch is a quest for perfection, where traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary innovation. Inspired by nature and rooted in German watchmaking history, the brand offers reliable and elegant timepieces, while remaining committed to values of sustainability and authenticity.
Limited to 50 pieces
The deep black brushed surface accentuates the distinctive case and underlines its architectural character. The combination of the case colour “MITTERNACHT” with the bright orange of the strap underlines the striking design and the watch becomes a symbol of the continuous change between day and night.
The "120°" dial divides the hour into three sections. It is therefore a time span of 20 minutes and not a quarter of an hour, which always seems to pass too quickly anyway. At the same time, it represents the three daily stages: morning, afternoon and night.
Our highly contrasting watches play with archetypes and thus shed new light on the known.
The DCL-coated case takes up the shapes of classic watches, but creates an independent character through clear facets and edges. The shape is cut from the block, the curves are reduced to a minimum, the watches appear almost brutal at first glance. Nevertheless, the design seems pleasantly familiar thanks to the play with known basic types.
The bracelet comes with quick release spring bars and has a single-sided locking seam on the crown side, typical of Belchengruppe.
We use Sellita calibers in our watches. Like our watchmaker, Sellita is based in La Chaux-de-Fonds and is one of the largest and best-known Swiss movement manufacturers.
An automatic calibre SW290-1 in the Premium (Top) version runs in the 1247 120°. The date ring is printed exclusively with the Belchen Grotesk font, Belchengruppe's in-house font. Equipped with 31 jewels, Incabloc shock protection and a frequency of 28,800 A/H (4 Hz), it has a power reserve of at least 38 hours with an average rate deviation of ±4 seconds per day.
And if something needs to be repaired: spare parts are available free of charge, any watchmaker can order them and get your favourite timepiece back in working order.
OUR WATCHES ARE AWARDED
Bauhaus design, Ulm School or minimalism - the design of the Belchengruppe goes far beyond that. We interpret archetypal design elements in a humorous and subtle way - this is how we create the design of a new generation. And for this we have received awards from international design juries.
